Managing Partner

The founder of the firm, Dan Harper, coordinates the provision of services leveraging a network of highly skilled consultants who can deliver needed expertise effectively and efficiently.

Dan is a Human Resources leader with twenty years of experience helping companies attract, retain, and develop the people needed to implement their business plans successfully.  Dan has experience in different industries and at different stages of the organization’s life cycle, with knowledge of how to help companies grow and how to help them control costs. He’s led major acquisition integration efforts as well as significant downsizing programs.  Dan has negotiated more than fifty labor contracts and successfully maintained non-represented status for employees at other organizations. Work locations have included headquarters, field, and international sites.   

Dan earned Bachelor’s and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master’s degree in Labor Relations from Cornell University where he was a Teaching Fellow.  Following his admission to the Pennsylvania Bar, Dan held numerous leadership and executive positions with Fortune 500 companies in the oil, chemical, financial services, publishing, and broadcasting industries.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors and as Chair of the Case Oversight Committee of the Center for Disability & Elder Law.  The Chicago Bar Foundation named him “Corporate Counsel of the Year” in 2000 in recognition of his volunteer services.
